🎨 Meet the Artist – Amie Talbot
Hi, I'm Amie — born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, where creativity has always been a part of who I am.
My journey with pencil crayon art began back in high school, and from the moment I picked up that first pencil, I knew I had found something special. I was completely captivated by the depth, colour, and realism that could be created with such a simple tool.
That spark turned into a full-on passion, and over the next five years, I dedicated myself to mastering the craft of pencil crayon art. Since then, I've built a diverse portfolio that includes everything from wildlife and portraits to classic cars—each piece reflecting my love for detail and storytelling through colour.
Alongside creating art, I began to nurture another dream: turning that passion into something bigger. And that’s how Amie Talbot Visuals was born—a business that combines creativity with confidence-building for all ages.
Today, I’m proud to say that my workshops and classes are now enjoyed in Canada, the U.S., Australia, and the U.K.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple mission:

My Favourite Way to Create
I create exclusively with coloured pencils, a medium I’ve come to love for its depth, richness, and versatility. I’m always exploring new ways to push its boundaries and bring each piece to life in a unique way.
